I love this shot of Tomorrowland. I think it actually looks more futuristic in the picture then it does now. Yes, that’s me in the stroller! I wish I still had that hat!!
Here’s a shot of Cinderella Castle taken from the Skyway. Sadly, the Skyway was removed from the Magic Kingdom in November of 1999. Who misses the Skyway? I do!
Sadly sights like this are gone forever at the Magic Kingdom, but hope remains that the Imagineers will continue to create new experiences for all of us to enjoy for a long time to come!
This picture comes from my family’s 1972 trip to the Vacation Kingdom of the World. I love the hill next to Cinderella Castle. It’s actually still there, but covered by 40 years of growth.

One of my earliest and fondest memories from Walt Disney World is watching the Electrical Water Pageant from our room in the Contemporary Resort. I was about 5 years old and I was amazed by the sight of the glowing lights from the floats as they passed by. The sound of the music brings a smile to my face even now… Let’s listen to the EWP!
